Proudly displayed at our
first meeting of 2007, was the soldier's battle flag of the Southern
army. The VALS is very proud of our Virginia and Southern heritage
and works very hard to promote a true understanding of it.
Our
gathering was made all the more agreeable and fun for the kids and
adults alike by the great location that was choosen for the meeting at
Claytor Lake.
Everything
was not all business for us! Many light hearted moments were passed
between friends at this gathering. Great food, fantastic fellowship,
and a common love for our wonderful Virginia home!
